The Orgad-Maps company is managed by Avigdor Orgad, a professional cartographer who graduated from the Department of Geography at Tel Aviv University and studied for a master's degree in geography, with over 30 years of experience in map editing and mapping.
Avigdor served as the geography department cartographer as well as a research assistant to Prof. Moshe Brewer in the preparation of maps and atlases for 5 years and publishes maps of the world and maps of Israel at a high cartographic level. Avigdor served as chief cartographer at the Columbus company in Germany, which produces the best globes in the world. As part of his work, he edited and updated the new series of globes of the well-known National Geographic Co., Ltd. which are manufactured in Germany. Avigdor served as a cartographic consultant to the world's largest Chinese globe manufacturing company East Treasure in Shanghai - China. He served as a cartographic consultant for the South Korean company Su-Jun, which specializes in the production of high-quality globes. Avigdor is known worldwide as an expert cartographer with a reputation in the field of map globes. Every year he presents his works at the book fair.
